Greetings, Readers.
So, so sorry that it's been awhile. Life here has been busy.
Where to start? Ummmm....let me see...
Last weekend Single Girl left me at Bette's for a sleep-over. A sleep-over that was 3 days and 2 nights. I always have fun when I go to Bette's house, but I'll be honest...when it was time for bed on Friday night, I cried because I was missing Single Girl. Bette told me that everything would be okay and she was right.
Sunday afternoon she came and got me. She said that she had a great time at her retreat but that she missed me. Hurray!! I don't know what this retreat thing is that she spoke of, but she seemed calmed. It was cool.
I don't know if she wants me to tell you this or not, but for the record...she came home from work the next day and the calmness was gone. Nice job, kids.
Skip ahead to this Friday. Single Girl's sister showed up. I like her even though she smells like cats. Well, I could smell my cousin, Lucy, on her but I knew that there was cat somewhere. I could just smell it. I wasn't quite sure why she was here but I thought if I just wait it out I'd find out.
Ha! There it was. Her and Single Girl started to change the color of the wall in my living room. I'm not sure what it's called, but wow did it stink. Well, while they were doing this Bette and her family showed up. Yeah!! A play date! Bette and I went outside and ran and ran. It was great! Then, all of a sudden, you will NEVER guess what happened. BETTE JUMPED THE GATE! Seriously! One of her family members came outside to check on us and Bette went in the house. Wow! Again I say... I'm not sure she's ever going to be allowed at my house again.
Then today, Single Girl and her sister started to do the same thing upstairs as they were doing in the living room. My thoughts on this project...1. I couldn't lay on the bed. Boo. 2. It was really stinky. 3. No one would play with me. 4. I decided to help and got this sticky, wet stuff on me. I got yelled at. :(
Anyway, that's it for now. I'm ready for a nap. All of this excitment has worn me out.
Until next time.
Ruff, ruff!!
