Single Girl Found The Girls!!!!

Single Girl came home all excited! She told me that today she found the girls who saved my life!!! The girls who stopped the traffic and picked me up off the street.

I'm so excited. I told her that I want to 1. put a letter of thanks in the paper and 2. go see them to show them that I'm ok! She told me that she was going to try and do both.

It turns out that the girls were talking about me on Friday at school and were wondering how I was.  Isn't that so nice of them.  I really want to see them again. Well, actually for the first time seeing that I don't remember a thing.

Thanks Single Girl for finding them. Thanks Brey and Marya for saving my life!

Road Rash...Part 2

Stella Puppy here!

I would first of all like to thank everyone for their well wishes as all of my bruises and scratches heal.

Second, I would like to let you all know that crosswalks are NO safer than just crossing at any random place!

I now know why Single Girl gets so mad when I go on my sniff adventures. I would love to tell you about  "the accident" but I don't remember anything. I know that I was on an adventure and the next thing I know, Single Girl and I are on the kitchen floor and she is crying asking me if I was ok. Granted I felt like I had been, oh how do they say it..."hit by a truck" but I didn't know why she looked so sad.

The last few days I have learned that Single Girl blames herself for the accident, that I need to have a tooth pulled and that pictures were taken of my injuries.  Well, it wasn't Single Girl's fault. I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. She keeps saying, "If only I would have put your coat on, maybe the driver would have seen you."  Well, I'm fine, so stop blaming yourself.

As for the pictures, it turns out that Single Girl did not have the memory card in the camera so the pictures didn't save. Maybe that's for the better. I wouldn't want people to see me like that. It's going to be bad enough that I'm going to lose a tooth and look like a "hick" as Single Girl says. I'll just have to remember to not smile in public.

Thanks again to Single Girl for all of her love and support . And next time, I promise to hit the button before I try to cross.

Road Rash

Single Girl here!

I'm posting for Stella Puppy today as she got hit by a car last night. No worries, she's ok...she's just not in the mood for posting.

We all know how Stella Puppy likes to go on her sniff adventures; well, that's what got her in trouble last night. We were on our way in "going potty" when she decided to take off. Why? Only she knows. I saw her go North and ran inside to get my coat. I walked a block North with no sign of her. As I turned around, I noticed her back by the house...the little stinker had turned around while I was inside and hid somewhere. I called her but she just kept trottin' down the sidewalk. She then disappeared out of sight.

The next thing I hear is a girl yelling, "Stop your truck! Someone just hit a dog!" Two super nice high school girls starting running onto the main hwy to stop the traffic (that had a green light) and pick Stella Puppy up out of the crosswalk.

As I'm walking, I see Stella Puppy laying on her back not moving. I thought she was gone. Thanks to the powers that be, she was just knocked out. The girls helped me get her back to the house.

After help from friends and calls to a vet, we made the decision that Stella Puppy did not need to see a vet last night. She was walking ok, had a cookie treat and was drinking.

I got her in to a vet today. The results... a tooth will need to be pulled. That's it. Wow is she lucky! She got out of this accident with a broken tooth, a huge bloody lip and a scraped face.

Thanks to everyone who helped and for all of the well wishers on FB. We both thank you all for your kindness.

Let's hope that she'll remember to next time push the walk button before trying to cross.

I Left Her Some Gifts

I had just spent the weekend with Single Girl and missed her seeing that she had to go back to her job. I wanted to show her how much I missed her while she was gone. So, I decided that I wanted to leave her 2 gifts. But, what would they be? Ha! Got it!!!

She found her first gift in the living room. A Great Big Pile of Throw-Up. Full of Plastic Pieces and Carrots! She didn't really mind. Yeah!!!

She then found her second gift on her bed.  A Great Big Pile of Stomach Acid! She wasn't too happy about that one. I guess it's because she just put fresh clean sheets on the bed last night. Oops. Note to self...next time make sure that she hadn't just changed the sheets the next time I leave her a present!

New Bowls

Well, today I got new food and water dishes. It's pretty weird...but it looks like I won't be running out of food or water any time soon.  Now if only Single Girl would put Coca-Cola in it rather than water.  :)

I Finally Made Her Happy!

I did it! Single Girl was so proud of me: so happy with me! I don't know what the big deal was? Here...let me explain.

Single Girl came home later than normal so I met her by the door. (Seeing that I had to pee...really pee.) She picked me up and put me in the backyard. She told me to go potty and then when inside.

Well, I went potty and then left the backyard. I usually go on a sniff adventure, but I decided to go to the door to meet her when she came to get me.

Single Girl opened the door and I ran in the house. She was so happy! She just kept saying, "Good girl!" Was it because I didn't go on a sniff adventure down the street? Who knows. The only thing that I know is that I got an extra cookie because she was so happy.

Note to self.....Greet Single Girl at the door more often!!

A Big Thank You

As the one year anniversary of me moving in with Single Girl approaches, I find it only fitting that I send out a big thank you to Janice and Wayne!

Janice and Wayne are the ones who were kind enough to raise me until I was old enough for Single Girl to find me. They made sure my first 3 months in the world were safe and that I would grow up to be healthy.

Thank you so much Janice and Wayne for everything! Keep up the great job of raising such great puppies and helping them find their forever families!!

I love you!

New Hobbie

Hi, Friends!!

Sorry that it's been so long. There has been nothing to report. Until NOW!!

I have a new hobbie and Single Girl loves it...NOT!

When Single Girl is at work, I go into her clothes basket and pull out underwear and socks and drag (and leave) them all over the house! It's sooooo much fun. I drag them down the stairs, into the bathroom, under the piano bench, on the couch, in the kitchen, under the bed...well you get the idea!

She, Single Girl, has already told me that in 4 days I have recked 4 pairs of underwear and 2 socks. Oops...but it's SO MUCH FUN!!!

I wonder if I will get to do the same thing tomorrow when I get to spend the day at Maggie's house?

Hat

I think something is wrong with Single Girl. She came home today with a new hat. How do I know that it's a hat? That's easy. She keeps saying, "Like my new hat?" "My new hat is so warm." "Isn't my new hat awesome?" "Do you want to try on my hat?"

Now, there is nothing wrong with her because she keeps asking me these questions (for the past few hours). But don't NORMAL people take it off when they come in the house. I know that there are hats that humans wear while they are indoors, like the yellow one that has the letters V-I-K-I-N-G-S on it that Single Girl wears sometimes; however, this is an outdoor hat. Like the one she puts on to snowblow.

She won't take it off. I just don't understand. I think I might need help with an intervention for her. And, to make matters worse she took pictures of her with her new hat. WHAT IS THAT ABOUT?

Part of the intervention is going to be that I post these pictures on here. Sure, she'll see it, get mad at me, maybe not talk to me for a little while, but this has got to stop!  Outdoor hats belong outdoors. It was great when we went on our walk, but TAKE IT OFF...WE'RE HOME NOW!!

Oh, and for the record. I heart the smell of pine.

The Biggest Squeek Toy EVER!!

My BFF, Maggie, knows that I love squeeker toys. Not only do I love them...I have a fetish for the plastic that is around the squeeker and that that is the squeeker. Don't tell anyone, but I eat it! Granted a day later I puke it up, but it's awesome.

Yesterday Maggie gave me my birthday present. Look!!! It's AWESOME!!!!!!

It's a cow with 16 Squeekers!!!!  Can you IMAGINE?  16!!!!!!

It normally only takes me a day or two to get the squeeker out.  I can't wait to see how long it takes me to tackle this one!!!
