Many Changes

So it's been almost a month and a half since my last entry and wow have there been changes to my life. I am so sorry to my loyal readers for the absense: adjusting to our new life is brain draining.

Since my last entry:

*Single Girl has a month and a half in at her new job. She REALLY likes it. She comes home every day telling me that she is starting to grow on the students (not sure exactly what that means...) and that she has super support.

*We stayed with Sara and the bunnies for awhile and are so thankful to them for hosting us. One thing I can tell you about living in a condo is that the family next door always had my attention and I wanted to participate in their fun. I voiced my opinion about that constantly!! I like the quiet of a house better. But without Sara and the bunnies, the first month of transition would not have worked.

*After staying with them, Single Girl was offered the use of a cottage right by a big bath tub. (She calls it "the beach" or "Lake Michigan") I just know that it is a great quiet place with no loud high-pitched noises driving by. Single Girl says that we will be here until we can find a nice place of our own.  I just know that if I could stay here...I would.

*I spent a week at my BFF, Maggie's, house for a week. Single Girl wasn't going to be home at night so I got to have a mini reunion.  It was sooo much fun. Miss ya Maggs.

*I met a nice guy, Dr. Getson, who helped me get rid of a tick. Single Girl found the tick and tried to take it out....well, she got the body and half of the head...enter Dr. Getson.  He was super nice and told me that I could come back every day because I'm sooo good!  I might have to talk to Single Girl about that seeing that there seemed to be tons of smells that I still need to check out there.

*Yesterday I spent the day with Single Girl and some of her students at her school. We were doing a Metal Recycle Drive.  There were lots of loud crashes and stuff, but the kids that I met were super nice and made me forget that I was out in the wind all day.  I hope that I get to see them again.

*Single Girl wants me to let you all know that she is fine and if anyone would like to come and help with laundry or dishes she would love it.

Hope all is well with all of my readers.  I PROMISE to not have so much time pass before my next entry.

Ruff, Ruff

P.S.   If you ever go out for a walk by the big bath tub...watch out for the water...it sneeks up on you.  Scary.
